Dr. Allen Page is an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky’s Gluck Equine Research Center, from which he obtained a Ph.D. in 2013 based on his work with Lawsonia intracellularis infections in horses. Dr. Page’s current research interests include the inflammatory response to exercise and injuries in horses, as well as work to better understand the metabolic effects of intra-articular medications and the anti-inflammatory properties of various medications using an experimental model for acute synovitis in horses. Other research interests include infectious diseases of horses and the development of related diagnostic tests.
