Dr. Brian Beasley grew up in a small town in southern Illinois. He spent his childhood shadowing his father, an equine veterinarian. Dr. Beasley worked as an apprentice and associate farrier with Steve Sermersheim, CJF, TE, AWCF prior to and throughout veterinary school. After receiving his DVM from the University of Illinois, Dr. Beasley spent several years at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky where he first completed a hospital internship prior to joining their Equine Podiatry Service. Dr. Beasley achieved diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2021. Dr. Beasley is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in Equine Sports Medicine and Podiatry at the University of Georgia.
