Dr. Rachel Gottlieb is co-owner of Seattle Equine Performance in Woodinville, Washington, a practice dedicated to sports medicine and performance issues in horses. Dr. Gottlieb obtained her DVM at University of California-Davis in 2010 and completed her internship at Northwest Equine Performance. In 2012, she completed the prestigious Large Animal Ultrasound Fellowship at University of California-Davis. She returned to NWEP as an associate veterinarian until she, along with Dr. Mark Revenaugh, founded Seattle Equine Performance in 2020. Dr. Gottlieb established her passion for lameness and diagnostic ultrasound at a young age as a student volunteer with Dr. Ron Genovese in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. She is an active permitted treating veterinarian at FEI eventing competitions. She can also be found teaching for various continuing education programs as a speaker and ultrasound wetlab instructor. Outside of daily practice, she is mom to two girls and rides and competes in dressage. She is passionate about injury prevention and equine athletic health to help her clients achieve their competition goals.
