Dr. Kelly Knickelbein is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Rhinebeck Equine and a comparative ophthalmology internship and residency at the University of California-Davis. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and is currently an assistant professor at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Knickelbein’s primary interests include uncovering the genetic mechanisms of heritable ocular disorders in horses and applications of advanced ophthalmic imaging to the equine eye.
